In SAS® Promotion Optimization, forecasts might not match between a promotion and the sales forecast export. The difference might occur when there is a new product that is sold only in a noncomparable store. Calibration does not generate results for products in noncomparable stores with limited or missing sales history (class code 20). The sales forecast export incorrectly uses the regular price as the reference price and generates forecasts for these product-locations. Optimization correctly excludes these product-locations and the sales forecasts in promotions are correct.
There is no workaround for this issue.
